I have looked at Regal legend 4r on two different occasions, his calves are good. he can take a bucket headed deal  and add body and dimension. I dont know if the calves come into a "square" shape quick enough for most kids looking for a hairy roan bull ? But if you want to soften up that sin city type. . he did it.  comfortable 6 1/2 frame, balance and thick. Not sure about bw or anything just thought he did a good job in that herd.

how many of these have a diamond in 2 generations?

Sue we used Regal on heifers for two years and on our heifers we had no problems.

We have his full sister and she has a calving ease of +8.1 and have a couple of calves coming from another full brother that has a calving ease of +6.5.

Northern really has an interesting program, as the breeders are "supposedly retired" they can't afford bad depositions or calving problems the Northern herd must perform with very little interference
