As I was perusing the different cattle sites, I was extremely impressed with the quality of cattle and genetic opportunities Jason Shatto, Gene Rowe, and John Ferguson are offering at the Ohio Beef Expo.  Practical, powerfully designed, sound cattle ... What else could someone desire, when looking for new genetics to add to a herd?  Nice job ... Best of luck ~

Whew, that gives me hope. From someone who has been actively looking for a bull for months. Both online with videos and in catalogues with my husband, that gives me hope. Looks like I have some research online today until the print form comes. So many of the Maine bulls we were looking at could not walk. Loved the still photo but they got scratched when the videos were viewed. I was even going to look at some Charolais when my husband said that if I could find one that met our requirements he would consider it, but the sale was too busy to deal with me. So I guess its back to Maines.

Well my hope was short lived. I downloaded some of the catalogue but if the people consigning bulls cant even get a decent photo of the bull selling, how do I know if I want to go to the sale? I dont care what the sire looks like. I have seen the photos of most of them in years past.
