Alright, I know this topic is basically <deadhorse>  but I'm a little disappointed with a breeder that I thought to be reputable. I was looking through photos of an online sale (I won't say which one so as to avoid personal attacks) and I saw a show heifer that looked giraffe-necked and made me go Wow! with how straight all her lines were and the neck extension screamed femininity... Then I looked at her video. In the video her neck doesn't look nearly as long (granted she wasn't holding her head up) and things weren't so "perfect." Normally you could say that it's just photography and film, but there was CLEARLY film editing going on in the photo because there are 3 spots (could be clipper getting too close, or ring worm but can't really tell for sure) on the same side as her photo that are definitely not in the photo. I can understand that they may want to mask those with a little editing, but it almost looks like whoever was editing could have extended the neck a bit in the process, and this makes me wary of every animal in the sale. I believe the cattle are good quality and have solid pedigrees, but this still gives reason for concern, does it not?

It happens more than it doesn't I think. It's kinda like these fast food commercials. They advertise a burger that is 5" thick, with perfect fixins on it, and a super model making out with it as she eats it. Then you go order one, and it looks like it was made 2 days ago, been sat on, and they don't even put what you want on it. .  (thumbsup)
