That is totally cool!!what's it made of?
All out of Pine wood!  The curves were four different pieces patterned, cut &  glued together out of 1 X 8's!

Here is the whole set of the hand made farm yard!  The Tub and chute is this Christmas, the Poll Shed, Fence & Bunk was Last Christmas and the Big Red Barn was two years ago!  I wish I had this set-up!

I'm sure that there will be a fair amount of cattle that need to be ran through the tub & chute here the next few days. Great gift for a couple of young boys. Thanks for sharing Tony.

Thats just cool!  My dad made me fence when i was 5 that folds up and i played with it do years.  He has been gone 3 years now and every time i see it i smile and think about him.  That is a great present and one that will take a boys abuse unlike that junk from china!

Thanks for all the neat comments!  The boys just love it!  It's all very well made!  You probably can't tell the detail on the original red barn,  the front picture is a bull out of SC and it was covered and put on!  The Roof opens up by hinges to get to the loft!  On the roof the shingle were all cut individual to give it the right look!

I got a chuckle out of all the shapes, sizes and colours of their "herd" then thought that it probably looks like a lot across the country. I know it looks somewhat like ours. No horns though.

Whats really neat about it is that niether my father in law or Bob have worked around cattle their adult lives for the most part as far as I know!  They are very familiar thow as they live in one of the top counties in the country per cap for feedlot production!  Don't quote me on this but Cumming County, NE has to be up there!
