Sales---slow??

I was told most sales are not selling well, lowest prices and fewest calves sold in a decade...I only had time to go to one sale so can any of you confirm this? What is everyone else seeing/hearing? Making me wonder how many to get ready for the Dec. sale I'm consigned to.

I am hearing the exact opposite, that calves are selling higher than ever.

I went to a sale the on the 5th and I bet less than 10% of the calves actaully sold. Some of the calves were pretty high quality. It was the first year for this sale so that might have had something to do with it

Lot of the places that I went to have said that the traffic has been real good but not alot of people are leaving bids.  But maybe that picked up yesterday and today as the bids closed tonight.

I bet its more of those deals where it depends where you're at and who you're with more than anything.
