shredded rubber mulch for cooler

I was wondering if anyone had used rubber mulch for bedding in their cooler?  How do you like it and does it stain white stomach calves?

Wouldn't that get super expensive? Might look into that first and foremost.

Seems like a lot of work on the back side.  To keep from having to purchase new bedding quite often, it would need cleaned and disinfected.  If you put it in a spreader, the tire would end up all over your pastures.  When we ordered it for our playgrounds, the stuff is pricey.  It works for a soft place to land, but I couldnt imagine what it would be like to clean manure and urine out of.  Chips or cedar fiber..... check into those as well.  they might work better for your application.

I agree with both KCK and coachmac. It would be hard to clean and you would throw alot away picking manure out of it. Between the initial cost and replacing what you throw away I'd look else where.

NO COOLING EFFECT  OR  FLY protection compared to good cedar fiber ....
