Steer with hip problem

I have a steer weighing around 1070 and is out of Carlos Okelly and Rockstar.  The steer is gaining very well but walks really bad on his back legs.  He seems to almost cross is feet when he walks.    He had a pedicure last weekend.    Is there anything I can do to improve is walk?  He a good steer.  He didn't do this when we bought him in October and I fear it is going to get worse as he puts on more pounds.    Any help is much appriciated.  Thanks

No,  he has always been on dirt.

Ia girl... we have been having the same problem but ours walks like a penquin.  Just did not move his hind legs forward at all.  Read my last post... our vet gave some shots to help us out.  also did he do this before you had the nails done?

Yes he was, we was hoping to correct some of it my getting his feet trimmed.  I will look at your post-thank you.
