Up and running, suggest additional categories, improvements, or anything in this thread.  Info about it is below.

The Steerplanet Directory is finally up and accepting your links or contact info.  You do not need a website to add your farm profile for the directory.

I have tried to make it simple as possible, no registration needed.  Just click on submit link and and find the correct category for your entry.  Fill out your info and click "submit".  Your website will be added to the directory, free of charge, within 24 hours.

It is pretty bland right now, but I have some neat features that will be added soon.  Including...

- Ability to search for results within a certain radius of your zip code.
- Thumbnail previews of websites.
- Google Map displaying everyone's location on one map.
- Dates of Private Treaty Sales
- Email through option
- Possibly a call through option

I will be refining the categories and the exact information that I collect after getting some entries in and examining what data is the most useful to the end user.

I would appreciate a reciprocal link for anyone using the directory.  As easy as adding the below text code to your website or feel free to link to us using our small logo.

In the description field be sure to include breeds of cattle that you raise, as it is a searchable field.

I think a category for cattle services would be great.  There are a lot of members out there with fitting, hoof trimming, or breeding services.

We put our links up last night, and it was very easy.  I also loved the easy to use logo to add to our websites.  I went and added links to our website of several of our favorite site last night.
