I know 35 years ago our county had a pen of steers contest. It was kind of a feedlot pen supposedly. I know I had a pen of charolais-angus crosses. They judged them as pens.

I had my students last year make a huge poster (10 X 6 ft) about all the products that come from cattle, pigs, and sheep. Each had 100 - 110 unknown products listed in a similiar fashion of this article.  We hung the poster in the hall outside my classroom, and you talk about "feedback"!! Several students swore off jello, eye shadow and all forms of glue.  (Yet by the end of the week, all the girls were wearing make-up; which I pointed out to them!!)

pamela anderson became a spokesman for peta and dontated her car for a fund raiser..... it had a leather interior.
A problem with vegan men in infertility due to the high estrogen levels in soy and tofu products..... which is actually a good thing... they can't reproduce.

i haven't seen a good controlled study on that but that's what china feeds it's prisoners.  we should start that here too.  might reduce the violence in prison.

if vegans were serious (and they are not), they would eat each other to lower their carbon footprint.

yea, but as producers we have to be leery of them, lets face it, the amarican public is vary easy to sway today, and we dont want the cattle indestry to follow the horses into the 'no slaughter' bs :S amaricas motto "outta sight Outta mind" aka we want all the fluffly little critters in this world living out their lifes in beautiful green feilds...as long as their not by MY house...

saw a video the other day where a vegetarian's solution to people who eat meat was to literally kill them.
