Anybody having problems with tomato brown spots / "rust?"  My plants seem to be pretty affected.

Sprayed with a fungicide triple action type product - anything else I should be doing?  I have really been looking forward to some home-grown maters!

Really surprised no response on this first off are they planted in same place as last year? 2nd are the leaves touching the ground? third have you been drenched with abundance of rain or do you water? third if you water do you have a sprinkler or ground water? fourth did you fertilize with fresh manure or dry/or store bought? advise and we go from there

Different place than last year.  Staked but lower leaves touch the ground.  Used manure (mix of old and fresh) from cattle and tilled it in early spring.  Not a particularly wet location.  I do not water.  It does seem that the most effected (but not all) leaves/stems are nearer to the ground.

ALWAYS pinch of the first few leaves after you get some top.  also, i till in the manure early as well.  this year i planted some near a tree and didn't get the soil tilled very good and the bigger tomatoes didn't do so well, but the little cherry and yellow ones do good just about anywhere.
