I am looking for a nice calf to purchase within the next month. Calf must weight 600 pounds for an august fair. Willing to spend about $1000. I also live in Michigan.

If you have an August fair, unless my math is off, 600 won't cut it. If he gained on average 3#s at 150 days that is only 450#s. making the calf 1050. That is pretty light. I would shoot for something heavier so yolu can deal with the warmer months we have in Ohio Michigan June and July.

I have a late December blue roan calf.  He is still on his mom and is still a bull.  Here is a picture of him after he was born.  I think he could work.  He is probably in the 250 weight range now without having any grain.

I have an Angus cross calf that is still a bull, but can be a steer. He was born December 15. I can get pictures if you would like.

I have a red steer that was born in January. Very thick, good bone & nice top. I'm weaning him in april. Might have a buyer but haven't gotten a firm yes.
I'm in northwest central Ohio. About 40 miles east of Lima.

$800
