If she has ANY Whiskey in her pedigree, I've seen a bunch of Hot Shots that are dang nice.  I think either bull would work well on her.  How tall is she?

Honestly, I couldn't tell you how tall she is or even what frame.  I'm about 4 hrs away at school and I don't remember.  She is just an average size cow is about all I could tell you right now.  Not really short or tall.

What are you trying to get? Gigolo Joe is a great bull for Maines, not necessarily for club calf production.Have not ever used or seen any calves in person of Hoosier Hot Shot. The bulls that have been suggested to you are good. May I also suggest TYCOON or Dirty Harry or Smooth Sailing.

I think Gigolo Joe could go in the Maine direction or clubby.  Just by the looks of my calves they could go either way.  I have also seen some neat ones up at Nelsons...I think with all the use he's gotten we maybe surprised what comes out of Joe this next year.  I know I will be using him more this year.

Thanks for the suggestions.  This will only be her second calf so I would like to stay with bulls that aren't really bad on bw, not necessarily calving ease bulls but not a heatwave type either.  Of these HW sons that have been suggested, are any of them better calving ease than HW or do you still get a lot of the harder calving ones?

I agree on the full flush lines, but what about good ole' standby Who Made Who. He isn't going to add terrible amount of size but he will add some style.

Isn't the who made who a little close on the Hairy side to breed to him?

In case anyone didn't see it, she is a Hairy daughter out of a commercial angus cow.  This will be her second calf.

What are bw's like on naughty pine, money shot, tycoon and smooth sailing?  are any of them really hard calving?

That being said, using clubbie bulls is a crap shoot. I will agree that these bulls mentioned above are not know to be "cow killers".
