With their being so much chrome on crosses these days I don't think you have to dye her. Hell alot of heifers with white bellies win these days. To each their own.As far as the heifer herself, she looks pretty good to me.Her hind wheels seem to be close to borderline but  if she has flex,she'S FINE.you can tell when a Angus breeder critisizes some other breed when they go to harping on body depth.Sims Chi"s or Maines will never be as deep as the Angus of nowadays.That's good in my book.The Angus breed in the USA has gotten so far away from true breed characteristics it's pitifull.

Without stealing the thread I actually am one angus breeder who likes frame as many are here in Aust. We have not gone down the same path

A bit to "tubey" in my opinion, and hell, I am not even an "angus breeder"!  But you sure can tell when a clubbie breeder harps about a critter having too much depth... makes one go "hmmmmmm"

what is she out of? what are your breeding plans? she is a bit straight on her hind legs but that could just be the picture. other then that she looks really good! (thumbsup)

I would not dye her belly.  most shows dont allow color pattern change, and it really doesnt help that much on a heifer anyway.  It doesnt bother me, but i am not a judge.
