this is my show steer for my fair coming up at the beginning of august. He weighs around 1250 and is a one and only out of a hot mail cow

Without getting my hands on him he looks like he is close to ready now, I would watch him close for the next month and a half, to make sure he stays fresh looking. If he is finished now you may want to hold him a little.
He does look good, if anything I would like to see a little more power, all in all he looks balanced and I think that is how a calf should be.

I think he looks pretty good, and you have done a good job with him.  I think he is plenty thick, but I would maybe like to see him carry that rear quarter down a little further.  The one area of the new pic that kind of concerned me, he looks like he may get up on those rear toes a little, how is he walking?

We have backed him off feed a good bit because like you guys said he's pretty much finished out and he walks about 95% but overall id say he's sound. During the winter shows the only knock the judges had was he needs more in his twist.
But thanks for the replys I'll give another update after the show!  (thumbsup)
