Let's say you had 1/2 blood to PB Maines and most were moderate cows with some thickness and were reasonably correct with 4 or 5 larger framed cows.  Let's say a fellow was giving you the semen on the following bulls.  Which bull would you use for club calves and herd replacements?

Clean Jeans
Dirty Hairy
Frank The Tank
Hairy Bear
Hard Core
DCC Hard Drive
Hot Commodity
Noble Man
Pay Off
Icy Hot
Jazz
Lifeline
Tyson
Strictly Business
Rocky Balboa

I've always liked Hairy Bear.  I've often thought of breeding him to some of my off pedigree angus.

I like him a lot too.  From what I've seen, he breeds similarly to Sunseeker.  The female should be long, maybe a little larger framed, and have a superb front end to get the best calf from Hairy Bear.  He throws good thickness, and a TON of hair.

From that list I would probably take Hard Core, they aren't going to be super clubby, but they should be good enough and I like them on the replacement side.  There are 3-4 on that list that would be in the running, just depends on what the cow needs.
