Who sees, talks, and places market steers the best? I'm curious to hear everyone's opinion...
Agreed, he won't judge much in Texas bc they own The Showbox and run the TCCA but he knows cattle.Jill said:I know everyone has different opinions, but Ryan Rash will always be one of my favorites, I can listen to him talk a class all day long, they don't come much better than him IMO.
I will also agree on this, saw him judge a show for the first time this year and he knows what he wants and will give you awesome reasons. The Show said:Agreed, he won't judge in Texas bc they own The Showbox and run the TCCA but he knows cattle.Jill said:I know everyone has different opinions, but Ryan Rash will always be one of my favorites, I can listen to him talk a class all day long, they don't come much better than him IMO.
he is a prime example of someone who grew up in a barn soaking up what a good one looks like and learning how to explain it, they guy can call cattle (and goats)Jill said:I know everyone has different opinions, but Ryan Rash will always be one of my favorites, I can listen to him talk a class all day long, they don't come much better than him IMO.

Some of the best cattlepeople have never and will never judge a show.I prefer someone that knows the cattle business and knows how to make it work.Fancy clothes and reasons that are rehearsed in front of a mirror don't impress the old guys ring side that actually know.
