Im the same way red. Alls we have is a barn with 2 sullivan turbo fans....we hose the calves down everyday and brush them with wet brushes. We've tried alot of stuff, coming the hair everyday for atleast 1hour, the sullivan roto fluffer. It just gets so hot and we cant get it to grow.

We use a tube on a squeeze bottle......it goes down their throat straight to the stomach......works well for us worth a try

My advice, If you dont want to spend as much, you can build them fairly easily. We built ours out of square tubing and some metal grates. Made them in 1-2 weeks. just need to know how to weld and run a band or cut-off saw.  works well.....just get the specs off of sullivans and use them.

At ours you can only enter 1 animal. We usually enter our calves. This year we got 2.65/lb for it. The buyer has the option of putting it in the barn so they get the meat or they go on the truck to the feedlot. Animals that do not sell are either taken home, or can be put on the truck at market...
