    My son's 2008-2009 show steer pics--Whatcha think?

We are aiming for Ft. Worth.  Currently weighs in at 930 lbs.  Was beaten this weekend by a 1140 lbs. Ft. Worth  steer.  He is out of the bull Tank and a HooDoo cow.  He catches alot of eyes where ever we take him because of his unusual coloring.

    Heifer pictures from County Fair

We most certainly were there for the steer show.  My youngest son had a shorthorn steer that won it's class and my oldest son had a semintal X that was reserve in it's class.  If you come back in 2009, we will be showing with Garrison FFA.  Love to meet you!

what brand of jeans do you wear?

I wear AURA jeans by Wrangler.  They have a little bit of lycra in them and they fit really well.  They come in 3 different lengths and 3 different strides so that helps with the fit, also.  If you are a big girl like me, you can usually go down a size!!!!

    jabbs on other boards

One of the things I like best about this board is the support of the other members, especially in regards to show results, feed problems, health issues of animals, etc.  How sad for the other boards that their members cannot be happy for the success of others.  Life is too short to have such a...

    Describe yourself in cattle terms!

I would be one of the best cows in the barn.  Don't know much about scoring but I do know that I calve easily and have a very high feed conversion rate!  Probably would not have horns because I have been known to be a little cantankerous especially when it comes to my calves. My owner probably...

Here we go again!!! Winter isn't willing to give it up yet

Here in East Texas it is currently 34 degrees at 8:15am CST on March 7 and we are having a blizzard!  That being said, I teach school and as I look out my window, HS boys athletics is on the football field playing in the snow!  Can't say that happens too often around here!

    anyone shoot sporting clays?

Sporting clays is a wonderful hobby that you can do with your husband, friends, children, etc.  I have shot some with my family but am not very good at it.  Biggest piece of advice would be to get a gun that is not too big and powerful for you.  Otherwise it might kick so hard that you wouldn't...
