Describe yourself in cattle terms!

We had this several years ago on another board & it was fun.

If you were a cow/bull or steer  , what would you look like?

Me, I'd be a mature cow. Body score of 2 if I'm lucky. Probably a frame size of 6-7. I'm sure I'd be red & probably have horns!  Haven't been breed for years but they love me & keep me around.
I'd love treats & back rubs.

Bull, Frame score 7, bcs of 7 or 8-need to work on this one. Coming 2 year old I guess would be age. Id be black smooth polled and probably clubby-pha free of course!
Id love good hay, minerals and a little grain but it probably wouldnt hurt for me to go on a diet.

Bull, 6 frame, bc of 6. Probably about 5years old. I once was darker haired but now have turned into a Blue Roan. I must be clubby 'cause I can't move too good. bad wheels. They still keep me around 'cause I still have the potential (on a good day) of covering a large herd.

Welllllll, according to some of the recent posts, I would should have been sent down the road along time ago, because I only could have 2 calves. 

In the show ring, I would have had my young showman disqualified because this morning I feel like I could use some Banamine and Ace Promazine.

i would have one horn and would watch it with both eyes and walk and talk in circles.  one diagonal would be atrophied, the other, intolerant of exercise.

5 Year old Mature Bull.  Appears to be high % Angus with small Bone Structure, a tick lighter muscled and a mid to high 5 frame.  This bull appears to be a little straight in the Right shoulder, travels pretty well off the rear wheels for his age with a medium sized foot.  Most of the traights pass on pretty consitantly as we have had the chance to evauluate his progeny.  There were 3 future herdsires that we evaluated out of this Mature bull and they are all keepers. He definately stamps them with his look.  This bull is still in excellent breeding condition for his age.  An added note:  His progeny will paper in two different breed qualifications as he is dual registered as a 1/2 blood Bohonk and a 1/2 blood German.  Another thing we noted was dispostion; This bull along with with his 3 sons for the most part are very easy going and nice to be around but if crowded in a stressful situation can become grouchy and a little bit goofy. (lol)

Remember in Blazing saddles when Mongo comes riding in on a less than galiant steed?  Now, picture that animal crossed with a near death donkey--I know, it's a stretch but stay with me.

Next cross that God forsaken creation with an albino giraffe that looks like it just swallowed a Terra Gator tire...yeah, that should work.

Now, this unsightly mix should be rather stiff moving caused by years of being ridden hard and left for dead.

Wait, just to keep everyone from thinking that I may do something rash (since I have painted a very grimm picture of myself), give this hodge-podge the face of a sweet newborn goat.  TOL-God those little smiles warm my heart!

Finally, take all that and give it a voice, I think somewhere between Gilbert Godfreid and Mr. Ed. with a splash of Jimmy Neutron.

I would be one of the best cows in the barn.  Don't know much about scoring but I do know that I calve easily and have a very high feed conversion rate!  Probably would not have horns because I have been known to be a little cantankerous especially when it comes to my calves. My owner probably would want stay clear of me during those times!

Stout, smaller framed bull.  Goes back to German and Danish bloodlines.  Easy fleshing.  Good disposition, only gets ornery when the heifers bother him too much.  Needs to be used on larger framed fair hided females of Swiss and/or Swedish descent(tall blondes).  Inquire about leasing for spring, summer, fall & winter breeding seasons.  Might not get all the cows but sure will try....

Large framed bull with long spine, that has been removed from production.  Monogamous minded cow only allows him to look at new heifers from the hilltop and stay in his very well fenced pasture.

Funny topic, we used to describe the members of my college judging team like this on our long van rides between workouts, Even occasianally would talk a set of reasons on the fairer sex in the cantina after a contest.  Boy does this bring back some memories.  I believe my evaluation always went like this.
Stout featured, big footed, production orriented bull, that is wide chested, deep ribbed and soggy made.  He is sound from the ground up and covers his tracks with ease.  in addition, he is a nicely balanced bull with good hair.  Ideally we would like to see him trimmer middled and have more lower 1/4.

Small frame moderate boned first calf heifer with moderate musceling and average flesh,  she is  Hetero brown hair and eyes and seems to be a  Low BW female.  Usually very doscile, however can be a bit flighty and contankerous in some situations.  Very sound off both ends with no structure issues.  Defenatly a front pasture kind of female ;D

That reminds me of time when my brother and I were at the state fair and my brother commented on a girl that had walked by and I looked up and without even thinking about it I said: "Not bad, although I would like to see carry a little more flesh, and she does toe out a little and I would like to maybe see some more shape through her hip..." My brother turned and looked at me and said, "Dusty, you need to get out more.."  LOL

Murary gray cow.  Used to tease the bulls and nothing more, breeding proposes are over for me.  In my days threw huge calves.  Now walk around the pasture like I own it all and I always come first.    Pet me and I will behave.
