It was quite interesting to see that the top selling bull was promoted as being out of a "1200 lb. cow". 

I liked her.  She's extremely wide across the hook bones.  Looked to be a little different type than a lot of modern day Shorthorns, especially since she was real similar in frame size to some 1/2 Lowline's.       

I can think of very little reason why you should breed them to an Angus & 2 reasons not to do it.  1st, you wont be able to register the calves.  2nd, you wont get the benefits heterosis.  As far as I know, the only Angus cattle that have a percentage registry are the Lowline Angus, so unless...

I sure hate to hear that!  But, glad the heifer is up & moving around.  I've been there & done that, plenty of times in the past.  It's absolutely no fun at all!!  That is a big reason why I now raise Lowline Angus.
