Could Kentucky drop 2 in a row?        Guess we will find out what they are made of when they play a ranked Vandy team this Saturday.   FWIW, Vandy is better than USC-E (aka South Carolina) & they have a nice point guard who, while not as good as Downey, is pretty good.

FYI, Patrick Patterson reportedly called out some UK fans on his Facebook for bashing.  Also, reportedly, his mother said that he is considering not playing this Saturday due to "fan criticism".  Oh boy if the later is true...

BTW, why will "down under" have to forfeit any wins?  I know that Cal has a rep (although he himself has never been found guilty of anything), but actually UK has probably the toughest NCAA compliance staff in the entire country & they strictly monitor everything... cross every t & dot every i.  They even go as far as to have a person hired to monitor message board posts every day & report anything questionable to the NCAA.  Not saying that it couldn't happen, but I will be shocked to see any forfeited wins & I will be shocked to see the NCAA investigating anything at UK anytime soon.  But, isn't that funny... when you are on top, everybody thinks that you are cheating... just like the showring I suppose.   ;)  I really don't think that Cal is doing anything dirty at UK, I just think that his resume, his connections, & UK's tradition attract top prospects in droves.  Not any different than when Pitino was dominating at Kentucky in the 90's.  Tubby could've done the same thing, but he reportedly hated to recruit & he didn't make his staff work hard at recruiting either & it just got worse the longer he stayed.  Oh well, some are speculating that UK may land the #1 recruiting class for both 2010 & 2011, so I guess that kinda talk probably aint goin away anytime soon.   ;D

Frank Martin wont go no where. KU beat them there but still the big 12 along with the big east are such tough conferences that it will be hard for the winner to not have 2 or 3 loss. I think Kentucky plays and a weak conference still loss. This year will be the year that no team gets to the NCAA tourney with out 3 or 4 loss there are just to many good teams. I lied Kentucky could pull it off because of how weak there conference is but that's probably it.

The wildcats only worry would be losing him to a Florida team, most likely Miami, where his roots are.  I think they will give him a raise and he will stay.  Especially after the Prince disaster and of course Huggy leaving early.

Jason, your right about Martin's roots in Miami,I think that coach is doing pretty well. Donovan is set @Florida, unless the NBA comes calling.how bout Florida State.I just think Martin leaves.the coach @Wichita State is going to be a hot one also.I think also Martin is looking for a big city atmosphere.we will see !rusty

Wall is far and away the #1 pick, a faster version of Rose.

Does anyone else think that the National Championship is going to run through Kansas this year?  K-State, KU rematch will be a top 5 matchup looks like.

Purdue's on top of the Big Ten (thanks Ohio State) and lookin like they'll be #3 in the nation this week after Nova lost two in a row last week.  Saturday could get interesting with Michigan State comin to Mackey Arena.  All I can say is BOILER UP!!

Crazy weekend

KU loses at OSU shoots out their mind.  I have never seen a team shoot that well.

UK loses to the Vols.  They almost came back, but Prince made some plays at the end.

KSU beats Mizzou after only scoring about 10 points in the first 13 minutes.  Well we will take it.

Syracuse routs Villanova.  The Orange will likely be the #1 team.  KU needs to stay ahead of UK to get that midwest  conference.

Good day if you were in orange.

Also who is going to be in charge of the March Madness bracket this year?  AAOK?

john wall is a god on the bball court. he simply can not be stopped.

John Wall will be the first pick in the draft and is a blast to watch but I think I would take Evan Turner of Ohio State.

A 6'7 point guard who can break you down off the dribble, take you to the rack, or pull up with a 10 foot jumper is nearly unstoppable.

In my opinion, Turner will be player of the year.
