We are getting our show steers this week and i need to order feed . I plan to keep them on grass hay for now  and maybe go to straw when we are closer to show time. I dont know if i should invest in a smart lick tub or if reg minerals are sufficient. And for feed ( i know i asked this a few...

looks like a decent heifer that should make a good cow when you are done showing her. Feed and a clip job should do alot for her. She might be a tick straight in her shoulder???

the first pic is her dam- she is a comm angus cow that served as a recip for a few years. Next is another pic of the heifer. All were taken about a month ago. I am going to put some updated ones on here soon. Thanks ;D

This is my who heifer out of an angus cow - the cow is good fronted and sound, maybe a little on the big side. Really a nice cow.  I hope to get an updated pic of this heifer on here soon

I like them alot! Im not sure how epds would work - i didnt see any on them. I dont place alot of emphasis on epds but am still curious. I would love to try one on a couple of my cows and see how they turn out. Gotta love the look of them and their dams.

Good calves! I really like the bull calf - he would make a nice calf to show as well as make somebody a heck of a herd bull. ;D

I walked both of my steers this year - one to make him eat better, and the other to keep muscle definition and smooth traveling. I think it works well - i went about a 1/2 mile on the picky eater and a mile on the other one.
