hey Shortdawg,
You can certainly make an offer on the Lovely Lady heifer. Of course, I don't own her, my daughter, Briar, does and I think you'd probably have to spend quite a bit to convince her to sell!! She's bred to TM Gus for a March 1st calf. We are taking her to the Iowa State Fair next week for the Open Shorthorn show. I'm sure we'll get buried by the "big boys" but we'll have some fun with her anyway. We're also taking the Tonic bull calf---he's really coming on now-- and the Vortec heifer.
Unfortunately, we started having problems with ringworm last Saturday and the Vortec heifer has 4 pretty good size spots. The other two each have a couple little ones that aren't really as noticeable. We've been treating with Fluid Film for the last week and we haven't seen any new spots since Monday so I hope we're over the worst of it now. Seems like there's always something just before a show.
Thanks for looking at our website!! Like our predecessor on this farm said " I should call this place OLEO Acres---it's just a cheaper spread!!"
See ya down the road,
Lynn
