TMJ: I really liked that lot 19a that Hi View got. She was my favorite heifer by far at that sale. She may have been one of the greenest ones that day, but I think she has a bright future ahead of her!

Looks like the heifer has potential. But my question is....is she really only weighing 500 pounds? I have February and March '09 calves weighing 500 pounds or more. It seems to me that a heifer that is close to 10 months of age would be weighing more?!?

I have had good luck with Jake's Proud Jazz. I have a really nice heifer out of him and a first calf heifer. ALM Chiller is also a bull with lower birthweights. I have a very nice cow out of him that did quite a bit of winning when she was a show heifer.

Here is a rear view of the shorthorn steer. I think once he gets going on feed he will make a nice fat steer. Located in Central Ohio.
