Have not used Joe yet but will.  I used Hard Core heavy this year and even bred some Brangus to him.  My calves have not been too large for a cow, but I would not breed him to a heifer based on what I have heard.  His calves do have a little disposition sad the guy with a HC torn MCL.

What part of Oklahoma do you live? Could you share with us the bulls EPD's? Calf BW's? Disposition? Growth rate? What is the composition of his Dam? PHA and TH test results. And brag a little about those wonderful looking heifers.

How long is it until you show?  Sometimes if the calf needs to gain weight and the genetics are correct it will fill out on its own and then you add more fille/fiber to make the gut bigger.  If the calf is lacking fat corn oil and sun glow products help as long as you do not knock the calf off...
