    Shorthorn Blood Percentages Registration?

The new system had miscalculated a % female for me once. ASA corrected it and now I just watch % when registration paper posts on line.

Billy Anderson switched into another breed of cattle? Always liked his bull ads - when I do look at older issues.  WC Anderson.... right?

Also in regards to grass fed shorthorns - Banbury Grasslands of Waterloo, Ontario has been marketing Grassfed Shorthorn Beef.  David practices stock piling and mob grazing- his family has been selling for a while.

Dale- I am not going to dig out the old catalog but I believe the bulls name was Louada Bonaparte- maybe a Bapton constuctor x Blood Royal deal? Louada purchased the Bapton herd of Scotland so this "mega bull sale to the family " was made following.  Dad had a bull out of a Blood Royal...

Ds-what percentages when breeding 2 carriers?

Mark, my sister has a cow base of DSC and has used DSC bulls through AI. The calves have not shown any signs. I think this year she has a couple DSC X DSC  bred back to DSC. The gizmo lines ( linebred) apparently have not shown train wrecks either?

Kinnaber Leader 9th - Big Gene

The embryo mating of Oakview's bull sold in our 2006 or 2007 and for decent money. I had purchased a large portion of Leader 9th semen and sold some each year as well. We had a slide show displaying older bulls including "big gene", leader 9th's nick name is after the former Gene McDonald who...

    THF bulls with No Heatwave

I used Yellowstone on a non clubby female. He has plenty of muscle, good structured too. The two calves I have seen are reason enough to try him again. My avatar is prewean son of yellowstone. Attached is post wean.

    Unbelievabull and some calves

The heifers posted were bred and raised by Shawn Fisher/ Fairview Farms of Ohio. I know that all of them sold very well at Ohio Beef Expo a couple of years ago. The mature bull photo looks good !

Red Angus sire to improve udders.

I get tired of the "bad disposition" remarks that shorthorn breeders make in regards to black or red angus too! it's a small breed with alot of issues.

Red Angus sire to improve udders.

I started 10 years ago too and I have to inject a red angus back into this deal too. I dont have walking ra x sh bulls left, some semen on a 3/4 bull.

    Sin City

Masonic Homes in PA ended up with walking rights on Sin City. You could visit with Frank a little. He covered cows a long while  there. I thought sin city was the full brother to Vegas ? More of a craze for Vegas I guess.

Who would you breed this ChiMaine Cow to?

I like the Kris Black suggestions- Yellow Repo's video was impressive, I didnt use him but have used Troubadour in the past. I tried a son of Troubadour  called Yellowstone and like both calves very well. Yellowstone was a high seller  - impressive video as well. Both calves came early. The late...
