This is an excellent point. Some of the clones look world different than their donor. Feeding and fitting styles change and I would have to think it would make a huge difference.

NOt to side track the thread- I didn't know that. Interesting. If the twin is not sterile no reason if he is what you are breeding for not to keep him as a bull. but as said previously, a twin has greater chance of throwing twins.

There are alot of good things about your calf, I think there are alot of odd angles which may not flatter him. He has some natural thickness and style. It will be interesting to see how he develops. We have had great luck with Simmi influence on our shorthorns.

You can always have your vet palpate her to see if she has ample room and get a rough estimate of the calf size. We calved one out about same age. Just have to keep close eye on them. We didn't have any issues after with fertility.
