ill put up a fan and see if that helps. because im in Arizona we dont have enclosed barns, so its pretty much just a covered stall. its pretty well ventelated, and we have fans on The roof in the aisles. but im forsure going to give the fans a try.

Hes getting a flake of grass hay morning and night, about 17lbs of feed a day, and out in the pasture for 3 hours. I think he was born in May or June but im not too sure.

My steer is about 580 right now. How much grain should i be feeding? A formula i found online said about 18lbs a day. Our fair is in April. Also how much hay?  ???

sounds like fun to me. i wish my famiily was cool with that kinda stuff. there def not.

I take a meat processing class at  my school, and it is very informative. the animals come in off the trailer in the morning and we do the whole process ourselves. i enjoy it and think that, ya you shoould know how things are done of your gonna raise em.

hes about 500lbs and 9lbs a day of the feed.

thats what i was thinking, hes just full. he eats all his grain and does not seem sick. hes about 7 or 8 months.

my steer is not eatin all his alfalfa. we give him a flake morning and night. he goes out to pasture about 4 hours a day, and is getting about 9lbs of feed a day. any ideas?

that would be a bummer to not have an ag class. im a senior this year and ive had at least 2 every year. congrats on getting in and ya just pust that school board to let you have more. have fun an enjoy FFA!!! its one of the best things i have dont with my life.

What makes a difference in what length of a stick that you need. Does it depends on the person or the animal.  ??? I went to order one and there were like a million sizes to choose from. Also has anyton used the little comb thingy that you can put on the end of them?

is there an easy way to estimate the weight of an animal. i do not have access to a scale and was wondering his weight. ive been told about ways using the heart girth, but is there a formula that you plug that into?
