Did not weigh her...probably in the 80's though. Look through some of Cardinal Cattle sale catalogs from the past and you will see some bred heifers and good talk about him.

We had an Uproar heifer last year out of a Monopoly cow. Really nice heifer but she was a lot thicker and more square than most Simmi's we had used in the past. Definitely wouldnt use him on heifers, but after that I think he would be fine. Will be using him again.

Our Yellow Jackets have performed great on feed. Last year we had a Yellow Jacket finish out at 1330 for a fair, his dam probably weighs 1150. The only complaint Ive heard about Yellow Jacket is that they get too big. Just be sure to use him on a soggy made female.

Any info on the Matador bull? I haven't heard any info on him yet. I agree that the In God We Trust bull is very interesting.

I think there were a limited number of Daddy's Money calves in fall sales this year compared to how much of them got used last year. Never a good sign.

I would say based on calves that I have seen at Simmental sales it's hard to go against Mack AF, he has an impressive video on youtube. Not sure on his semen situation. Houston X01 is a bull we plan to use and have seen a few pop up in some sales that look nice. Remington Red Label always...

We had our first online sale this year. To be honest going into it I was scared to death because i never knew how many of these sales have real bids. I see a lot of terrible cattle bring pretty good money in live auctions and online sales. In the end, 10 of our 12 calves sold. 6 steers averaged...

Used him twice last year. Had a heifer out of an Amen cow that is in our replacement pen. Tons of rib shape, should make an excellent cow. The other cow was a Monopoly and she had twins by No Remorse. One heifer, one bull calf. Really nice calves, but of course not much use for either of them...

I have heard a very similar report from a family member that visited Hawkeye in August. Here I Am and Hi Ho Silver were very impressive. We have a couple Hi Ho Silver calves and Here I Am's coming in February. I don't usually use new bulls but liked something about both of them to give it a try.

He doesnt get used much or enough but I have an impressive Card Uproar calf on the ground.  The Black Jade genetics are hard to top.  Love the look of the red baldy Houston bull that Griswold has semen on too.

Does anyone know if Cattle Visions is carrying original MAB and at what price?  On there website it is just listed as $0 which usually means the price is fluctuating or they are out.
