What Club Calf Bull to use on smaller framed cows to make show steers?

Here is my issue/problem:  I have a few smaller framed cows.  Some clubby bred cows (more showy looking, if you will), some smaller angus cross cows, (more maternal looking), but pretty good cows.  Most of today's Club Calf Bulls are smaller in frame.  I have tried many of these current bulls and have gotten offspring/calves that are smaller frame and finish at 1000lbs to 1100lbs.  These calves are too small for my liking, the show ring, or fat cattle. 

What Club Calf Sires are available that will increase frame size and yet still have the desired traits of today's show calf industry.  i.e. big bone, hair, depth of rib, good fronted, square hip and can still walk?  Preferably bulls that you have some first hand experience with.

I really like One and Only for what you have described.  Adds frame, is sound, deep, has a lot of bone and powers them up too.

A bull  that will add frame for you and do what you need is Monopoly Money! A lot of good cattle out of him, just needs used on smaller cattle. A new bull to watch for in the future to do this is Clean Machine. He isnt proven yet, but I think in time hes going to do the same thing.

I will second you on Monopoly Money.  We had a steer out of him a couple years ago.  We bought him in the pasture, and his mama was really little.  Like 1175# little.  The steer finished at 1365, and fed really well.

The kicker here is your clubby cows.  Some of them are probably dirty, so you need to find a clean bull.  I have heard talk of Friskey Whiskey being one that will add some frame, but I can't say that I have first hand knowledge.

No, I've raised one and been around another and they don't grow and can't milk either. I used him on pb simmy cow and calf was 92# and a brick. Weaned off 400# but thick and good. That was the end of the grow of him. Full feed no more frame but got to 600.

Our Yellow Jackets have performed great on feed. Last year we had a Yellow Jacket finish out at 1330 for a fair, his dam probably weighs 1150. The only complaint Ive heard about Yellow Jacket is that they get too big. Just be sure to use him on a soggy made female.

I used Choppin Wood on a smaller type black Hairy Bear cow and had a good sized Smoke calf. He is about to be weaned, but looks like he is going to have some frame size to him. Biggest calf in the pasture. Long too. Nice turn of muscle as well.

Like I've said I've only been around 2 and was just talking to a buddy and he used him to add some frame to a cow and it didn't work. I like the calves but I doubt these ones I've seen will hit 1200#. We are going to try again.

Some people have said One and Only's get big too and I didn't get that even on 6+ frame cows with lots of milk.

Hired Man and his son Chore Boy we got some bigger framed calves out of.

Salty dog is another of the trausch bulls that will add some frame-I think Young Money will too-Raymond Gonnet told me he was pretty good sized. The bull pictured is Next Big Thing-a double clean Heatwave out of a really good Angus cow-And he definitely puts the grow and thickness on em-owned by Dechristefaro In Ohio. I was impressed with him as a working bull. O0 O0

I have seen somewhere to use hard whiskey on shorter deep bodied females, but I havnt asked Wade.

Thank you for all the GREAT responses thus far.  After reading your responses and giving more thought, perhaps I am really looking for two (2) different types of bulls. 

1. One that will add frame, a clean long front end, may be a THC. To use on the more maternal made, deeper, plainer, needs squarer hip, shorter/dirtier fronted, "smaller framed Ohlde Angus style cow".

2. One that will add frame, needs depth on rib, add guts, adds grow, and needs to be clean TH.  To use on smaller framed, pretty or showy, good/clean fronted, square hipped, clubby style cows that are carriers.

CAB:  Which type of cow would Fu Man Chu work on?  Ohlde style deep body, angus or clubby showy, shallow?

I know he is not a clubby bull but Matt Lautner Cattle recommended Gunsmoke to us.  He is actually Charlois but throws a clubby looking calf.  Our first will be due April 1 out of Red Angus/Simmental Cross Cattle.  My husband actually just wanted a nice framed smoke to try to market but they did say that they could make cows for the future.  We will see how things turn out.

My only other train of thought was to go with something with a little more "Chi" influence.  i.e. a "Who Da' Man" son, or an old school "Chi" bull, i.e. Hannibal?
