well said, Jamie.  I have used Carnac for a couple of years and have gotten along very well.  Like most clubby bulls, you need to use him on sound ones.  but i have used very few that give as much consistent hair and look than Carnac.  Steer in my profile pic is a Carnac out of a Deiter bred...

Last Straw a nice option or his sire Paddy O' Malley,  I also like Invincible, Predator, Sunseeker and Yellow Jacket on the smaller framed soggy made cows.  those will give you some nice options in either ThC or THF options.  Paddy and Last Straw are both PHAC.

i used him last year,  really like the calves.  flat out good cattle.  not overly blessed with hair, but softens them up, keeps them sound and they have a good look.  calves came easy on mature cows.  I did not use on heifers, but would try it on one without much birhtweight behind them. 

unfortunately, Chambero, hay is going to be tight everywhere.  $6+ corn has resulted in large amounts of hay and pasture being ripped up in the midwest.  Hearing the KS producers are selling untested hay for whatever they ask for it.  I deal with Dairies and am hearing Daity Quality hay at over...

i owned a flushmate bull to your cow and have found that Maine genetics can work pretty well on them.  I assume from her genetics and the picture you posted that you are happy with her overall balance, soundness and look but would ideally giver her more dimension.  at least that is what i need...
