We are located in SE Ohio. I did send a blood sample in last week for TH & PHA test on the Heatseeker. The Paddy calf is out of a first calf heifer and was 50 pounds at birth. He is really growing well. I will get more pictures on our website (www.householderfarm.com) soon.

Our 2009 calves were sired by Paddy O’Mally, Heatseeker, Blue Blood, Jakes Proud Jazz, a Stud Muffin son, a Midland son, & a Fear Factor son. Here are two of our bull calves. The first calf pictured is a Heatseeker x Kool and the second is a Paddy O'Mally x Heatseeker. What do you think?

I have had four.. out of two pure shorthorns, one 3/4 shorthorn plus, and one crossbreed herford. The two pure horns were one and two days over, both bulls and weighed 100 lbs. and 110lbs. (I had to pull one) red/white/roan color. The shorthorn plus had a heifer six days early and weighed 80lbs...

Does anyone know the gestation for Heatseeker? Are his calves early? Late? I have a cow breed to him that is a couple days over. When should I start being concerned??

Had two heifers breed to him this year. One was a bull calf seven days early 60lbs. The other is now seven days late. Thinking the bull might have bread her.

Anyone have any results??
