i have noticed that in most of our cattle that if the swirl is low on the nose then they are generally calmer and just pain friendlier. we have a couple that have whorls higher on their head and they don't trust you as much.

northern lite we just had a northern lite heifer out of a first calf who made who heifer and it weighed 58 lbs. we have had a few in the past and haven't had one over 80 lbs.

i would suggest checking the ground from the box as well. also, i have heard of wires in the box being broken and actually shorted in the box. you might check those if you feel like you have walked the fence enough.
