Just thought this might be a good topic what is your routine with new show calves when you get them home? (feed, amount of work, type of work steps to halter breaking, shots, wormers) its a wide subject but there are a lot of us younger people that would like the elders advice :D 

we are looking for a heifer we have a few places lined up to look at over the next few weekends. I work for a John Deere store so I  only have one day a week off of work so it might take a while. thanks for everyones suggestions and help.

I am interested in peoples thoughts on feeding breeder cubes compared to feed in a bucket (the hard feed that has to be licked) which is best do they get enough nutrients out of the tubs?

Where are you located at. How old are the heifers? What are you asking for them?
