A couple sale features from ourselves is our two JSF Wall Street 70E sons, lot 46 and 47. These two boys are not only impressive with their phenotype but also their numbers. The Wall Street calves are long bodied and quick maturing.

Our coming two year old bull is something quite special. Lot 53, Bell M Royal Navy 180F, is a pace setter for our herd. He has a ton of width over his top and his muscles carries beautifully into his quarter. Navy embodies his depth from his paternal grandsire, Bell M Foreman 30A. His dam is very easy fleshing and has a powerful calf every year, including a incredible Wall Street calf for next years bull sale. In the summer and fall, Navy went undefeated in Shorthorn Shows including winning Canadian Western Agribition. Navy tested myostatin negative.

We really like this bull , he is Lot 1 Muridale Phantom 10F.
He is out of Muridale Goose 76Y who is a full sister to Muridale Goose 32R.
He has great capacity and is one the deepest bulls that we have ever raised.

Muridale Phantom 10F is sired by Muridale Iron Man 4X, who is by Bonnyview Hero 7Z who was born in the 1960's.

Should you not be selling Iron Man 4X and keeping Phantom 10F?
My mentor has always said to keep a bull until he produces a better son, then sell him and keep the son!

We sold Iron Man 4X in the bull sale a few years ago . At the time we thought he should work on our cows so we drew semen on him for in herd use. We are glad we had.
He sired:
Muridale Hulk 7B , who was a high seller bull that sold to  Scott & JoAnn Pfeiffer from Ohio
Muridale Raw Hide , who sold to Warner Ranch in Wyoming last year.

What exceptional capacity he breeds. I hope you have a lot of doses in the tank still.
I am always envious of the variety available on the North American bull sales, you could 'fix' any perceived problem in your herd in a generation!

On sale day I would be looking at Lots 1, 5, 8, 11, 17, 35, 41, 51 and 53.

Good luck to the breeders with the sale tomorrow, post some results!

Great group of bulls this year.  If I was in the market, I would be looking at lot 5 and lot 13.

What were the sale results?

Any semen companies buy bulls, Semex, Genex or Select Sires?

I don’t believe any of those companies did but there will be semen available on the lot 1 bull later summer or early fall
