2 blower system

Anyone ever copied the 2 blower setup that Sullivans makes. I guess they have a patent on them, but I was thinking about going to the muffler shop and getting them to make me a "Y". I then could get some car was vacuum hose, and get the nozzle from Sullivans. I bet I could save half of what they charge for it. I've got some old circuiteer blowers I could tie together with my good blowers to speed up drying. What do you guys think?

Thought about it myself.  Would need to make sure to use a bigger hose coming off the "Y" so you can use the full volume.  Once the right sized parts are lined up, it should be really easy and could be done for less than $50 for the whole set up.

I think Sullivan's hose is 2" coming off of the Y.  I haven't looked for the connector but I would think it would be pretty easy depending on how hard the Y connector is to find.

When we where at the Western Bonanza Show there were allot of people using the double blower setup with a single blower hose on the end. I was told that it was easier to handle and the force coming out the end was greater. I just wondered if the might be to much back pressure on the blower motors.

i like the volume of air and drying power the two blower system has, especailly when the weather isn't cooperating like during or production sale hte end of november, but unfortunately i really can't afford the whole "flux capacitor sytem", what i can do though is take a roll of duct tape and tape the nozzels of two separate blowers together, then about a foot down the hose tape it together too. its kinda bulky but i can hold just one nozzle and use it normally but have the power of two. it really helps out the power of drying when you can take two old circuiterr2s and put them together. and it doesn't look at junkish as you might think

OK, I did some research, haven't talked with the muffler shop yet about the "Y", but I can buy 25 feet of car wash vacuum hose for $42.50, and a new dolly from Lowe's for $30.00, and the nozzle from Sullivans for $7.50. I would think the "Y" thing could be done for $15.00 or less. With 25 feet of car wash hose, I could cut that in half to make 2, and have 2 set ups for less than half of what one would cost from Sullivans.

As long as your are experimenting, why not try a 3 blower system, put the bowers in a circle and the hose in the center, really it wouldn't take up much more room than a 2 blower system.

It could be done . All you need is to Y's to connect them together.

  I like the 3 blower idea mount them sideways on a cart connect with pipe similiar to an inductor setup [more of an m than a y]would help air flow then hang on, can't wait to see that hose get loose

I do the same thing, just zip tie the hoses together. It is kinda bulky, but still works pretty good.

How about a four hose system?  It could be used to both dry and slick sheer cattle by blowing all the hair and skin off.
