RW then Brylor bull sure looks good in the catalog.  But I am sure that being the big EPD fan that you are you strictly bought him for his birth weight EPD, just kidding.

I know the feeling. Bought 1 bull out of Sioux Falls on the 5th, turned around and made it to Swift Current on the 6th and bought a Canadian bull, and then picked up another the following week. We're running 5 herd bulls this year, 4 of which will be yearlings. Could be interesting.

Would that be a Davidson Gelbvieh bull?

We've known Vern & Eileen for quite a few years. We've got one son working in our herd right now on heifer duty....he's the true definition of a heifer bull. Calves average 65 pounds at birth and 750 at weaning. Last year was our first set of calves - put him with 15 heifers, got 1 bull calf and the rest females. This year he's at 80% heifers so far. He's going to get pretty limited use at this rate!

I've seen pics of the new brylor bull and he's pretty shiney!!  Way to go RW!  Just send me a little of that  semen you have and call it Merry Christmas !  ;D  Ranch I managed had to buy 13 hd of bulls for one season.  That's a little tough on the checkbook!
