We were Ford people before and I will agree 100% that they are not that bad. They are bulit tough!
If they can fix the problem of terrible fuel mileage running empty next time we will definately consider Ford again
There is no reason why all of the BIG THREE cannot produce a pickup that will get the buyer respectable fuel mileage.

Just keep your eyes and minds open because that is exactly what ford is fixing. I'm still trying to figure it out because I just set the cruise  on our 2010 at 45 and got anywhere from 17-22 (hills) on  the way up to the school. I have heard about all these 8-10 trucks, but I've yet to see one. I would hate fords too if they got 8-10 but that's just not the experience we have had with our 7 powerstrokes, and we have had the 6.9, 7.3, 6.0, 6.4, and soon a 6.7.
