Thought that was pretty funny until I saw the strands of barb wire. We had a heifer do that once and she got cut up pretty bad.  Hopefully that wasn't the case here.

The wire was loose and he never got a scratch on him.  Sounded alot worse than it was.  It was extremely cold and that was the first bull of the day, I was just warming my camera up while Darla was picturing him, capturing some background footage.  Right place, right time.  I knew when that dog ran by me that things COULD get interesting.....and they DID.

It's much funnier NOW than it was THEN.  lol

Brad I have to say that I like the bull snort footage!! I can't help but laugh everytime I watch it. We have a rule here and this footage is a great example of the rule. The rule is everyone for themselves!! Of coarse in that fraction of a second that it happens it is everyone for themselves. I'm not saying that I won't help you out if in need,but that initial first 1/10th of a second you're on your own and please run a different direction than I run. Those boys were moving for their size!! Did you know that this bull could be that way?

We have a female heeler that just loves to help.  Everything usually goes fine until we are dealing with heifers that have just calved - or with bulls.  She'll follow me into a pen - usually when I don't realize it.  Next thing I know a bull or a momma is making a dive at me, because the dog has pissed them off and then runs and tries to hide behind me when one gets after her.  My kids learn some interesting combintations of cusswords as I'm trying to cuss the cow, the dog, and get away at the same time.

My corgis are cowards generally lol.  Big dog bark but hide when the going gets tough.
I just bought a border collie pup from Chuck and Karen McCullough...I can imagine I'll have some interesting stories

We have a little corgi that is the dangest dog. She'll stare down a full grown cow with calf at side.  She has no idea what backing off means unless I yell at her.  She even has a running feud with the skunks.  It doesn't stop her one bit when she gets sprayed.  The cattle dogs - on the other hand - sit on the porch.

That is a funny video though.
