Little boys name is Falcon, pray he can fly. They are searching a area where a deputy saw something "fall". The area is hugh and some of it is covered by waist high grass. Breaks my heart.

Finding out a little bit more about the family. They had appeared on Wife Swap twice and for fun do "Storm Chasing" as a family. There were three boys in the family and the missing is the youngest. The father is not schooled in weather but a self proclaimed weather buff. They were thrill seekers with good well behaved kids. Keep thinking good thoughts. They are looking for a needle in a haystack.

The child has been found alive. He was hiding in a box in the attic of the garage. More to come I am sure. They dont think the parents are involved but the older kids were sure and told the same story a few times about seeing their brother climb into the balloon. I am sure more to come.

I am not happy to speculate that a car from social services is heading their way.  Apparently, this family has been questioned about intentionally driving the family wagon thru tornados!  stay tuned.

He was on the evening news, admitted that he knew that his dad would be mad at him for messing around with the balloon, so he hid in the attic of their garage.

I am really glad he is safe.  So much better than the ending we were afraid of.    (angel)

Sounds fishy huh?  I dont watch tons of TV but I guess there is a reality show where families swap the wives to see how they fit into a new home situation.  This is a irregular family to say the least.

Aj, I bet you don't get local news like that.  This state just gets weirder and weirder all the time. <alien>

Color me synical. I listened to koa radio and "On the ride home" they have interview footage of the onery kids and the father. It just seems like someone who was on a reality show might be one to generate media attention to further their careers. But it might have been a double dog dare of the older brother to the younger brother. Who knows. I do know if some think dropped out of a ballon into a corn field it wouldn't be found till after harvest most likely.

Law enforcement officers are always under scrutiny for when did they shoot?Should they have phazed or not? Should they have rammed the car. Then you get a cry wolf deal like this (that the feel good media will cover for a month) and searchers are wondering about next time. |Or volunteers who left their part time jobunder the watchfull eye of the employer. Next time will they participate. However.....isn't this just a Cute story?

Hoax. A cry for attention.... just like the kid being "sick" on the GMA interview this morning. Drama. Drama. Drama.  Have you heard the saying "anything for a buck" or "15 minutes of fame" or "any publicity is good publicity"?
The kid even admitted it was done because "it would be good for the show" on Larry King Live.

I hope the officials press charges, put a huge price tag on the "search effort" and teach others that crying wolf is not worth it.

Shame on them.
