A MODEST PROPOSAL

With apologies to Jonathan Swift as this has nothing to do with his essay, but the title fits

I would like to suggest that before people post personal information about other people - issues they are facing, problems they are having, difficulties in their lives, that they first discuss it with the person involved. Some people want to control their own information and don't want everyone in their business. Please use a little common sense and respect peoples right to privacy before you post. It is not our business to post about the health, well being, problems etc of others if they do not want it posted

RW this is a generic request - not all about you  ;D - we make the assumption that everyone wants everyone to post everythig about everyone else and it sometimes isn't true - I simply ask that we all ask the person involved if they want the information public before we post personal information
