Here's a decent picture of the heifer I bought from the Strope family this spring.  I bought her after they had already decided not to show her because they had too many calves.  She wasn't tied up for two months before I got her in the first part of May, so I've had my work cut out for me.  I think she's looking pretty good now, but she could use more hair (what calf couldn't?).  Let me know what you guys think of her.  She'll be at Jr. Nat's, and she's MUCH better in person.  Thanks!

Thanks, the calf next to her is our Double Vision that we will be showing as a Market heifer some.  The Double Vision is out of an AberTees cow too.  I think the Strope family will like our calves at Nationals  ;D

Hey just an update on the heifer-

We took her to one county fair this summer and she was Grand Champion Heifer!  She was the only heifer in the grand drive that wasn't all glued up.  I know it was just a county fair (probably only 55-60 heifers there), but it's the first time I've ever had a heifer win Grand Champion.

It should be only a matter of days until I have my picture from Jr. Nationals ready for you guys to see, she looks really good in it, but she's even better now!

She got 6th at Nationals, a bit lower than I think she could have done, but it was a lot better than she could have done!  She is actually a lot better now than then I think, and should be a lot of fun at the big shows this fall.
