Adding Depth to Heifer

I have had alot of trouble adding depth to my angus heifer. She is 1 year 9 mo. and is eating 25 lbs. of Performance Livestock Extra Calf, a cotton seed/corn/pellet mix with bovatec, 3 lbs. of alfalfa pellets, 1 lb. of Winning Fill, 8 oz. of show bloom, and .5 lb. of Champion Drive. She is also on pasture with a flake of hay. Is there any way (other than genetics haha) to add depth to her? Included is a picture taken July 5th, 2018 before she ate. Any help is appreciated! We have fed out some steers and heifers that have had success in the show ring and I don’t believe I fed our steer that much grain.  I think the key is for the body to absorb the nutrients without it losing it on the ground.

I could be way off base, but you could cut back to 16-18 lbs of feed and add some beet pulp, along with cottonseed hull. 

It’s probably time to breed her and fat deposits will not help in breeding or calving.  A healthy productive heifer is what the judge wants.  Again, it’s only my opinion.

If you want depth, ditch the alfalfa pellets and pasture. Keep stemmy ,1st cutting , palatable hay in front of her all the time, along with the 25#/day feed. Is her stool firm or loose?

It’s fairly firm, wouldn’t say it’s loose at all, but not horse poop firm either - basically healthy.
