adding weight to steer

Try cooking cracked corn in a crock pot with water. They love it and it really helps put on the weight.

We put barley in a crockpot. 1 scoop as a top dress with the regular feed! They love it and barley makes anyone or thing fat! Good luck.

Started using Rowe's Enhance with our calves this past fall.  Gains have been from 3.75 to 4.5 lbs. per day.  Gains are great but the best part has been the calves have also stayed on feed.  No instances of being knocked off feed and losing valuable time/gain while you work them back onto feed.

If you decide to use barley be careful it tends to make our cows bloat if we use too much.
