Afterhours - new Irish Whiskey son from SCF

Just purchased this bull from our good friends Brad and Dana Pruess form IA.  Afterhours is a TH and PHA clean son of Irish Whiskey on a Dr Who x Imprint cow.  will be registered 1/2 blood Maine.  We will be taking him to Nichols next week for collection.  If all goes as planned will have semen available at $25/unit

I like all three in his pedigree with Irish Whiskey, Dr. Who and imprint all three have been known to throw good heifers that turn into good cows, should have a maternal upside. Is any of the major semen distributors going to be carrying him?

We will be taking Afterhours to Nichols this week.  Once we get semen we will push to get him into most distributors.  In the mean time, feel free to IM with questions and I will gladly respond with availablitiy.  I am very excited about his maternal potential and will use him heavilty in our own herd.

We don't have much for a bank on him. We only put up a couple hundred units to start,  and he is now running with cows.  I would contemplate the idea, if we have sufficient interest,  this fall after we pull him off cows.

Update - We have been really pleased with Afterhours first crop.  Took a daughter to one of the first shows of the season.  this one is Afterhours x I am Legend and was Champion Market heifer and 4th overall at Kirkwood Hoof and horn show on sunday.  She will sell on our online sale November 3rd.  We kept every heifer for the replacement pen and saved 3 bulls as well.

We calved 24 this spring, all unassisted. Heifers 75-85 and bulls 85-95. Scale weights . About half of those were on 2nd calvers
