I work for a research based multinational ag company. A very high proportion of the employees on the research and the sales and marketing side have Ag Degrees. I think that having that type of degree shows that you are truly committed to agriculture. There is a real lack of qualified employees in agriculture here in Canada, but I agree that it is a small segment of the entire job market.
