I am planning on attending a AI school this summer so I can learn and so I do not have too but keep on bringing my cows back and forth. What school would recommend?

Thanks

Genex Kevin Boyles class. Look him up. I took a class 7 yrs ago and have never owned a bull, I AI about 10-12 cows per year. Yes 100%. I have had to AI 4 cows twice. It's technique and heat detection, heat dect. is more important than people give credit too.

Your local semen distributors probably offer something relatively close to you. I would call your semen reps and find out what is available in your area before I went clear across the country for a relatively simple & inexpensive school.

Good luck!

Contact your local semen salesman or your local extension office. I went to a Select Sires school and an ABS school. The reason I went to two was because the Select Sires instructor recommended it in order to get it down better. I took them two years apart. I was lucky though because my work paid for the Select Sires school. Also, if you are a high school or college student be sure to see if you can get a discount; a lot of AI schools offer it. Good luck!
