AI'ing Heifers

What a difference a few hrs makes.  The cervix was a little further back than i thought and about the size of a cigar, not a cigarette.

I think heifers are easier than cows to get settled since they are usually in good body condition but they can be harder to breed from a technical standpoint since their cervix is so small.  Otherwise, I time my breeding same as cows and get good results and I sometimes bred them while still standing.  I think you have a pretty wide window, particularly if you are using good quality semen.
