I would have to agree one the post that he sires alot like WMW. When Alias works he works good, but you do have to breed him to sound cows and even then you'll get one thats too straight. Our best calves the last 3 years have been by Alias, including a $5000 dollar steer out of a plain jane angus cow that you wouldn't look twice at. We have had 1 heifer that I was planning on keeping as a replacement that just keeps getting straighter and straighter. She will get fed out and butchered because she won't bring anything at the sale barn. I really hope she can still walk when we get her finished. On the other hand I"ve got a great smokey heifer out of a Heatwave x 6807 cow that is the best calf to ever walk on our place. She will be my 9 year old daughters first show heifer. The disposistion on all our Alias calves has been great, all quiet and really gentle.
