I have aprox 7 ton of high protine alfalfa haylage bailed in big marshmellow looking bails. 150 per ton

Depends where you are, and what haylage it is, but I would say $200/ton based on dry matter for Alfalfa is a good starting point. I would guess those bales to be about 50% dry matter on average, so you're looking at $100/ton wet (haylage).
